Banners Created for the Academy of Art College

When you're surrounded by talented students putting out amazing artwork, finding source art for a banner ad is a snap. Before these, I had never done a serious banner ad. It started with the AAC's marketing department asking me to do a quick one-off banner for them to avoid having to pay their outside ad firm to do it, since it was for a simple banner exchange. It has since flourished into me being the de facto banner guy for the web team. Weird for a guy who claims to have no sense of aesthetics.

My first Flash banner. So very proud.

A 150x100 Banner for MovieMaker Magazine's website.

This was my first banner for the academy, built for Photo District News.

The Academy folks liked it so much, they wanted me to convert it to another size.

I had two rapid requests for a general Academy banner for a couple of sites. I'm particularly partial to the first one.

Here are the specs: 110x43, it can be a static gif, animated gif, jpg or Flash file. And it must be no bigger than 5k in file size. In addition, it needs to advertise four different departments here at the Academy. I love a challenge.
