Rob's Narcissistic Page

This page is meant to pretty much explain the author of this page to you so you know what you're dealing with.

Rob was born on February 17, 1975 (mark your calendars) in Bellflower, CA. His parents moved to Yorba Linda, CA, just before he was born. He went to school there and pretty much lived his traumatic childhood there. In 1982 his parents divorced, which actually made him pretty happy, it stopped them from fighting.

Rob lived with his mom and they moved around a lot in Orange County, finally settling in Tustin. He attended Tustin High School from 1989 to 1993. On August 15, 1993, Rob moved to Berkeley, CA (remember this, there will be a quiz later) to attend the University of California. For two years he toiled and worked to be a Mechanical Engineer. After two years of trying and failing he decided that perhaps he shouldn't be an engineer and decided to go into Classical Languages, studying Ancient Greek and Latin. After two more years of trying and failing he decided that perhaps he shouldn't be a classicist and decided to go into American Studies, focusing on American Media. He remains in this major as we speak and plans on graduating in May of 1998.

Rob's hobbies include computer geeking, writing, reading, speaking in long-dead tongues, hanging out with friends, playing his crappy Fender Strat Squire way out of tune, watching way too much TV, cooking, drawing and whatever else suits his fancy at that moment. He enjoys playing football because, frankly, it's the only sport he understands. He also seems to enjoy referring to himself in the third person (He does? Most certainly, he does!).

His favorite band is REM, hands down. However, he enjoys listening to most "Alternative" bands, particularly the female bands, as well as classical music (favorite composer: Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky), Classic Rock (Led Zep, Jimi, CCR, etc.), and, especially, good ol' down home Delta and Chicago Blues (Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, etc.).

That's pretty much it. If you're REALLY interested in learning more about Rob you can send him some nice e-mail at rzazueta@uclink.berkeley.edu , he enjoys getting mail from people. Make's him feel important. Photo Album
