The Family Album

Bill is my best friend- always has been always will be. We've known each other for about twenty-two years which, when you consider that we are both twenty-two years old (as of February of 1997), is an awfully long time. We used to live across the street from each other in Yorba Linda.

Bill and Rob when way young. This is a shot of Bill and I when we were about three years old or so. This is our first trip to Disneyland together.

Bill and me now, in tuxedoes. This is us now. Bill is about 6'7" and I'm around 6'3". I'm the handsome one on the right.

Bill still lives in Yorba Linda. He's studying to be an automechanic, one of his great loves in life. In 1994 he married Melissa Cardinali, a very sweet young woman whom he'd been dating for about three or more years.

On February 1st, 1995, Melissa Cardinali-Pettit gave birth to Michael Anthony Pettit. He was born a whopping seven weeks early, but is now healthy and pretty darned cute.

Ain't he a cute little sucker?Shot of Mike as a

Why do I take such interest in these people's lives? Well, other than the fact that I consider Bill a brother (we're both only children), he gave me the honor of taking a major place in both his wedding and Mike's Baptism. I was Bill's Best Man at the wedding, and there are many stories about my crying toast, and I am Big Mike's godfather, which has driven me to speak in a really bad sicilian accent, imitating Brando, whenever anyone mentions the baptism. I'm incredibly proud.

Why is everyone in a tux? Well, all of these pictures, except for the picture of Mike, were taken at Bill and Melissa's wedding, including the shot of me on my narcissist page. The wedding pictures are all taken from a collection of photographs given to me by Bill and Melissa for Christmas, with the inscription "A Friend is a person with whom you dare to be yourself," as quoted by Frank Crane. The picture of Mike was a gift to me from Bill and Melissa for being Mike's godfather.
