August 9, 2002 -- Oh, the things you find when you Google yourself. I present to you the very first website created by yours truly way the hell back in 1994. I believe I did one update to it in 1995 when I started working for the Daily Cal but, other than that, it remains mostly as it first appeared on the student-run Open Computing Facility servers at UC Berkeley. Most of the external links are broken as the sites no longer exist. I found one broken link that was apparently supposed to lead to a song I wrote late one night while working for Cal's orientation program but, other than that, it kind of works.

So, surf around and marvel at just how far I've come since those early days. I'm proud to say that this was one of the first websites to appear on the student servers at Cal. I mean, check out that email address: it's on uclink.berkeley.edu! By the time I left they were already up to uclink4. I'll bet they're up to uclink2000 by now. I used to be so 1337. What happened?

Welcome to the Cafe Virtuale

Your table is ready

As you can probably figure out, I've more or less temporarily abandoned this thing, at least for now. But fret not, I'm thinking of ways to make it look cooler and stuff, it's just going to have to take some time that, frankly, I don't really have right now. If you are wondering where I spend all my time, check out The Daily Californian Online and look under the "Us" section at my little page. And, if you have any ideas for what I should be doing here, mail me at rzazueta@uclink.berkeley.edu and drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you.
