Sam Adams Long Shot Contest

I sound like such a Sam Adams whore here, but I really respect the fact that founder Jim Koch genuinely cares about the homebrew community and uses his promotional power to further enhance it.

Every year, Sam Adams sponsors the Longshot competition, which gives homebrewers the chance to have their recipes reproduced on a commercial sale and sold. I haven’t gone out and purchased this past year’s winners yet, but you count on me doing that and reviewing them soon.

In the meantime, they’re already gearing up for next year’s competition with a web site full of great brewing resources. In particular, check out the series of brewing videos. I’m still in the process of shooting and editing my “how to brew” video, but the folks at Sam Adams beat me to it. I can only hope my video is half as good as theirs. Thanks, Jim, for the great resource!
