I LOVE Web Stats

If you scroll allllll the way down to the bottom of this page, you’ll see an annoying animated image that probably says something like “Enter” on it. Way back when I made my old Tripod site I got curious whether anyone was actually visiting the site. So I signed up for free web stats through HitBox.com.

I rarely check the stats because, well, not that many people actually come here. Yeah I run a blog, and yeah I have a bunch of friends but, in the end, this site is more for me to play around and vent on.

But, with the new job hunt, I care again about who is coming to visit me. And the web stats crack me the hell up.

Here are the top 10 search terms that my site has popped up in:

1. rob zazueta
2. pictures of folliculitis
3. accesorize my car
4. bob trabert
5. boy short hair
6. c++ the tortoise and the hare
7. c++ tortoise and hare
8. c++, tortoise and hare
9. cannery row
10. desert tortoise amtrak

Granted, most of them were generated only from hit, but still. There’s this whole area of keywords that got linked to me somehow:

free naked pictures of hairy men
free pictures of hairy naked men
free pictures of naked men and their hairy bodies
hair removal erotic
hairy naked men free

Now, most of these actually refer to the old site as I’ve been too lazy to set up a new HitBox account for this site alone. Still, I have no idea why I’m “naked guy” and folliculitis central:

folliculitis butt
folliculitis haircut
folliculitis hell
folliculitis pictures
folliculitis, butt
folliculitis, pictures

I don’t think I even have folliculitis. And then there’s my personal favorite:

what makes men pigs

The answer: That nasty Y chromosome. It’s genetic. And that dress makes me want to lick you from head to toe, baby.
