Dani left me last night. No, it’s much, much worse than it sounds. She left me to go to Chico to… FIND A WEDDING DRESS!!! Scary stuff. Her grandmother, who lives in Chico, told D that she wanted her contribution to the wedding to be the wedding dress. Grandma Tokarski is one of the coolest people around.

So, I’ve got the place to myself for a couple of nights. Last night was the first time in two years that I slept in an empty apartment and an empty bed for an entire evening. It’s weird.

I’m going to go hang out with one of my buddies tonight, garb a couple of beers and shoot some pool. Tomorrow… jeez… maybe I’ll check out the Livermore wine valley again.

It’s weird… I spent so many years alone and, in just two short years with a steady girlfriend, I find myself not knowing what to do with myself. It’s definitely better this way.

I guess it’s a good thing she’s getting a wedding dress, then.
